Most people are aware that our oceans are being polluted, overfished, and overused. What they might not realize is that these issues don’t just impact us on land—they also threaten ocean life and entire marine ecosystems. Understanding how much of an impact we have on coral reefs, fish, and other marine life can help motivate you to get involved in ocean conservation efforts. Here are some resources to help you dive into ocean conservation

There are a number of organizations working on ocean conservation, including:

Join scuba diving clubs around your area or explore eco-dive tours that take you out to see healthy and thriving sea life firsthand.

Marine protection organizations often hold underwater cleanups for divers who want to remove debris from coral reefs or sandy ocean floors; you could even host your own underwater cleanups at popular diving destinations near you.

You can also lobby local governments to create legislation protecting natural habitats or supporting sustainable development practices like wave energy production.

The oceans need all the help they can get, so taking action is as easy as breathing. Diving in a healthy reef ecosystem should be an incredible experience for divers — but for too many divers, such experiences are few and far between. We offer you a chance to exsperice this amazing feeling for FREE!!!!
